Description

You will design and implement endpoint security controls and automation for a remote, cross-functional team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Microsoft AppLocker, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), and Red Hat fapolicyd.
• Integrate Microsoft Intune with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) for unified endpoint management.
• Analyze logs and alerts using Splunk or similar SIEM tools to drive security response.
• Develop automation scripts using Group Policy, Intune, or Ansible to streamline security configurations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to maintain security posture across Windows and Red Hat environments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or endpoint security experience.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft AppLocker, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), and Application Control for Business.
• Experience with Red Hat fapolicyd and Satellite.
• Proficiency with Splunk or equivalent SIEM tools for log analysis and alerting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Ability to write automation using Group Policy, Intune, or Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of tenure in previous security roles, demonstrating stability and depth.
