Description

You will perform penetration testing and manage Splunk data collection infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote and onsite penetration tests on systems, networks, and applications to identify security weaknesses.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and recommend specific mitigation methods and security improvements.
• Generate technical reports detailing findings, risks, and conclusions.
• Manage Splunk data collection, including server management for Universal Forwarders, syslog servers, and heavy forwarders.
• Develop custom scripts for data collection and integration with non-standard products.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of penetration testing experience.
• 3+ years of Splunk administration experience.
• 2+ years of vulnerability management experience.
• 2+ years of security awareness experience.
• Experience managing Splunk HTTP Event Collector for Java, .NET, or JavaScript applications.
• Experience with Splunk Stream to capture wire data.
• Ability to re-architect syslog aggregation for high availability and storage.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of risk assessment experience.
• 3+ years of experience with NIST 800-53.
