Description

You will execute penetration testing and manage Splunk data collection infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote and onsite penetration tests on systems, networks, and applications to identify security weaknesses.
• Manage Splunk data collection, including deployment of Universal Forwarders, heavy forwarders, and Syslog servers.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and recommend specific mitigation methods and security improvements.
• Develop custom scripts for data collection and integration with non-standard products.
• Generate technical reports detailing findings, risks, and conclusions for IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4 years of Penetration Testing experience.
• 3 years of Splunk Administration experience.
• 2 years of Vulnerability Management experience.
• 2 years of Security Awareness experience.
• Proficiency with Java, .NET, or JavaScript for application data collection via HTTP Event Collector.
• Experience managing Syslog aggregation, including high availability and storage configuration.
• Ability to work with Splunk Stream, heavy forwarders, and Universal Forwarders.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of Risk Assessment experience.
• 3 years of experience with NIST 800-53 frameworks.
