Description

Responsibilities:

• Support cybersecurity response, containment, remediation, and recovery activities
• Monitor and secure Linux and Windows server environments
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and systems hardening initiatives
• Investigate security incidents, alerts, and suspicious activity
• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls and best practices
• Conduct systems analysis and troubleshooting for security-related issues
• Assist with monitoring infrastructure and identifying potential risks or vulnerabilities
• Maintain documentation related to incidents, remediation efforts, and operational procedures
• Coordinate with IT and leadership teams regarding cybersecurity issues and escalations
• Participate in after-hours and emergency response support as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field preferred; equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered
• Advanced working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with cybersecurity incident response and remediation
• Strong understanding of systems security principles and operational best practices
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure operational environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Telecommunications industry experience preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience with security monitoring and alerting systems
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred: CISSP Security+ CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) GIAC certifications CISM CompTIA CySA+ Microsoft or Linux security certifications
