Description

You will own the response, containment, remediation, and recovery of cybersecurity incidents while securing Linux and Windows server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure Linux and Windows server environments, performing systems analysis and troubleshooting for security-related issues.
• Investigate security incidents, alerts, and suspicious activity to drive remediation and recovery efforts.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, systems hardening initiatives, and the implementation of cybersecurity controls.
• Maintain detailed documentation for incidents, remediation efforts, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with IT and leadership teams on cybersecurity escalations and participate in after-hours emergency response.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Advanced working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proven experience with cybersecurity incident response and remediation.
• Strong understanding of systems security principles and operational best practices.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues in high-pressure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Telecommunications industry experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, GIAC, CISM, CompTIA CySA+, or Microsoft/Linux security certs).
