Description

Design, implement, and manage network and cybersecurity architectures to ensure system confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses of policies, standards, and technical environments.
• Evaluate existing and proposed systems to determine security requirements and controls based on operational needs.
• Apply defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, and infrastructure components.
• Identify critical infrastructure systems and legacy environments lacking adequate security considerations.
• Support incident response planning, vulnerability management, and continuous security improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Expertise in designing and managing cybersecurity architectures.
• Strong understanding of network security architecture, topology, and protocols.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Knowledge of defense-in-depth principles and security controls.
• Ability to analyze system changes and their impact on security posture and resilience.
• Familiarity with state and federal information security statutes and regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy environment security remediation.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
