Description

You will design, implement, and support cybersecurity technology solutions while providing technical administration, troubleshooting, and patching. You will lead research, proof-of-concept, and selection of security tools, analyzing build-vs-buy options to advise management. You will develop metrics, controls, and governance frameworks for security operations. You will participate in on-call rotations and serve as a subject-matter expert for security incident response and post-event reviews. You will mentor team members and collaborate with management to align security initiatives with organizational objectives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions, including cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer security tools, handling troubleshooting, break-fix operations, and patching.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and evaluate technology options for security improvements.
• Develop and maintain security metrics, controls, and operational documentation.
• Provide mentorship and act as a subject-matter expert for incident response activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud environments and CI/CD processes.
• Deep understanding of network architecture and common web technologies.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or MCSA.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and work independently.
• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading complex security projects and vendor management.
