Description

You will configure, manage, and monitor security platforms to protect enterprise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for network and application protection.
• Implement and manage Akamai security solutions for web application and DDoS defense.
• Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Handle incident and service request workflows using ITSM tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to enforce security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies and rule management.
• Deep knowledge of Akamai security configurations including WAF, DDoS, and CDN security.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network protocols.
• Experience managing WAF policies, rule tuning, and handling false positives.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewall operations.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and patching processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
