Description

You will secure digital assets and manage security infrastructure for this contract role.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions and architecture.
• Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents to ensure rapid response.
• Configure and manage EDR/XDR solutions for endpoint detection and response.
• Investigate security incidents, managing containment, recovery, and documentation of playbooks.
• Perform system maintenance, including security patching, upgrades, and vulnerability assessments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
• Proficiency with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Practical knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with bulk deployment tools, automation, and network security tools like Proxy or Secure Web Gateways.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
