Description

Analyze security logs and manage incident response within the Security Operations Center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze event and incident logs to identify security threats.
• Perform incident triage and escalate issues to the SOC/IR team.
• Execute incident response and handling procedures.
• Generate and leverage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Track and report security trends.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of information security experience, or a combination of IT system administration and security experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and system monitoring tools.
• Experience performing incident triage, response, and handling.
• Experience with IT system administration.
• At least two IAT or IAM Level I baseline certifications (per 8570 requirements).
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal channels.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
