Description

You will lead technical solutioning for state cybersecurity services, assessing legacy systems and engineering implementations to meet agency operational requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning to address agency intake requests and operational requirements.
• Assess legacy systems with stakeholders to identify security improvements for future implementations.
• Evaluate potential solutions for implementation within centralized state services.
• Develop and align requirements for solution assessments.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience engineering and implementing cyber solutions.
• Experience working as a cyber engineer within cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing complex security issues.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience in requirement development and solution alignment.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degrees or certifications including CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Experience supporting Endpoint Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Firewall, (P)DNS, SSL, and CDN.
• Project management experience including planning, scheduling, and monitoring service delivery.
