Description

Manage and execute network connectivity requests to maintain secure access controls and enforce the principle of least privilege.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming ServiceNow tickets to validate connectivity requirements and determine appropriate access levels.
• Translate security requirements into API commands using internal formatting tools to automate policy updates.
• Execute API commands, publish firewall policy changes, and push configurations to gateways.
• Document all fulfilled and rejected requests within ServiceNow for audit and tracking.
• Meet a target processing speed of 20 minutes per ticket while maintaining accuracy.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewall policies and security protocols.
• Proficiency using the ServiceNow ticketing system for workflow management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, cybersecurity, or an equivalent field.
• Ability to write and edit formal technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet strict time frames.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Technical security certifications.
