Description

You will own the design and implementation of unstructured data monitoring solutions, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across the organization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Inventory unstructured data sources, including file shares, email, and cloud storage, to establish a comprehensive data landscape.
• Analyze unstructured data to identify risks such as sensitive information exposure, compliance violations, and potential data breaches.
• Develop and document business requirements for data classification, data loss prevention, and compliance monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and security experts to design and implement effective monitoring architectures.
• Evaluate solution effectiveness and maintain processes for data retention, disposal, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong background in file storage systems and unstructured data management.
• Expertise in data classification and data loss prevention (DLP) technologies.
• Deep understanding of compliance regulations and industry standards for data security.
• Experience in risk assessment and identifying vulnerabilities in data storage environments.
• Ability to define and document technical and business requirements for security solutions.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional technical collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or data governance roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud storage security and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of automated data disposal and retention policy implementation.
