Description

Lead end-to-end release management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, coordinating deployments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage the D365 F&O release calendar and coordinate cutover activities to minimize downtime.
• Oversee code and configuration deployments using LCS and Azure DevOps.
• Govern the release lifecycle by coordinating build, test, and deployment activities.
• Lead go/no-go assessments, risk reviews, and maintain rollback and contingency plans.
• Maintain release documentation, including release notes, test evidence, and audit compliance reports.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ERP release management, specifically within D365 F&O or AX.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft LCS, Azure DevOps, and D365 environment topology.
• Experience managing releases in regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel releases and prioritize stakeholder requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O or Azure.
• Experience managing third-party integrations or ISV solutions in D365.
