You will manage, optimize, and maintain SQL databases across diverse environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and manage SQL databases, including patching strategies and version updates.
• Develop and review SQL procedures while participating in application tuning efforts.
• Maintain database health by rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, and reorganizing data.
• Create logical and physical data models, transforming business requirements into relational definitions.
• Automate manual processes and implement error-detection and monitoring systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Database Administration (DBA).
• Deep expertise with SQL Server and Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft database systems.
• Proven track record in database design, upgrades, migrations, and implementation.
• Experience with database performance tuning and disaster recovery protocols.
• Proficiency with UNIX/LINUX and Windows environments.
• Ability to provide high-level technical consulting for information flow and content issues.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience identifying and resolving complex database version and patch issues.
