Description

You will design and manage data modeling, transformations, storage architecture, and training processes.

You translate complex business data into usable information through conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to create optimal physical data models, data maps, and system interrelationship diagrams.
• Define and govern data modeling standards, including document naming, security protocols, and lifecycle/retention architecture.
• Identify business needs to improve returns and efficiencies by proposing and implementing data solutions.
• Advise on data standardization and usage while communicating the benefits of data application to product owners.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience designing Enterprise Data Analysis frameworks, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric.
• Proficiency in querying databases using R, Python, or SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing tools such as Azure Databricks, Unity Catalogue, Purview, Spark Streaming, Hive, Power BI, or Apache Superset.
• Expertise in relational SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB.
• Ability to work with R, Python, SQL, C, C++, Java, or Scala.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Aviation industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination.
