Description

You will lead data migration and optimization efforts as an onshore technical lead.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and consolidate legacy SQL queries to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Lead the migration of legacy logic to Azure and Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical design documents.
• Manage sprint execution in Agile environments and mentor offshore team members.
• Ensure data integrity, reporting continuity, and performance optimization following migrations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, SQL development, and data platform projects.
• Expert-level SQL skills for analyzing and optimizing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks, specifically for SQL migration and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with Snowflake or Oracle and technical data mappings.
• Strong background in ETL pipelines and data modelling.
• Experience leading large-scale data initiatives as an onshore tech lead or coordinator.
• Proficiency with BI tools including Tableau and/or SAP BusinessObjects.
• Experience working within Agile, JIRA, and Confluence environments.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern data architectures and BI reporting.
