Description

You will build and document data lineage and flow mappings across the organization, ensuring standardized documentation for all data types.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and standardize documentation for data flows, mapping protected and non-protected data types.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tooling for data lineage mapping and secure data handling.
• Build and maintain data flow documentation on SharePoint to ensure stakeholder accessibility.
• Manage security protocols for sensitive data types including PII, PCI, and PHI, incorporating tokenization practices.
• Utilize SQL and Python to build, analyze, and document datasets, developing reports and visualizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and documentation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and Python for data analytics and scripting.
• Proven experience in data lineage mapping and creating standardized data flow documentation.
• Extensive experience handling sensitive data types such as PII, PCI, and PHI.
• Practical understanding of tokenization and secure data handling practices.
• Experience working with relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare industry experience, specifically working with PHI.
• Familiarity with Collibra or similar data lineage tools.
• Data management or analytics certifications such as CDMMP or CAP.
