Description

Data Analyst owning analytics delivery, data quality, and operational support for reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into analytical requirements and deliver ad-hoc and recurring analyses to support decision-making.
• Monitor data pipelines, dashboards, and jobs for failures, providing operational support during incidents and outages.
• Investigate data discrepancies across source systems and downstream reporting, performing root-cause analysis to resolve issues and implement preventative controls.
• Align and maintain data definitions, metrics, and business rules across teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Present insights through dashboards and reports, communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in an analytics-driven role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience working with databases and large, complex datasets.
• Expertise with data visualization and reporting tools, specifically Power BI or Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms including Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of data validation, data quality, and reconciliation techniques.
• Ability to independently investigate complex data issues from source systems through reporting layers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, and data transformation tools like dbt.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and experiment analysis, such as A/B testing.
