Description

You will design and manage large-scale data warehouse and decision support systems, focusing on ETL development and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and business requirements to design ETL applications for Netezza, Teradata, or Oracle environments.
• Build and manage data mapping, data management, transportation, and staging processes.
• Develop UNIX shell scripts to load databases and create automated wrapper scripts.
• Optimize system performance through logical and physical design, data modeling, and tuning.
• Automate workflows and frameworks using schedulers like Control-M to minimize manual intervention.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development.
• Proficiency with Netezza, Teradata, and Oracle databases.
• Advanced UNIX Shell Scripting for data loading and automation.
• Experience with Control-M or similar workflow schedulers.
• Strong knowledge of Data Mapping and Data Management.
• Expertise in Performance Tuning and troubleshooting large-scale datasets.
• Experience with Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Erwin for design.
• Ability to extract data from RDBMS and flat files into staging areas.
