You will own the end-to-end analytics process from initiation to deployment and ongoing communication of results to partners and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Apply quantitative analysis and data mining to uncover actionable insights regarding customer service, public conversation health, and social media.
- Write well-documented, shareable code for use across multiple teams.
- Prioritize analytics tasks and insights based on their ability to drive desired business outcomes.
- Mentor global team members to foster a community of learning.
- Manage work plans, timelines, and milestones within an Agile framework.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science, analytics, and data storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R for descriptive and predictive modeling.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Working knowledge of Hadoop, BigQuery, Presto, and Vertica.
- Experience with Tableau visualization.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within Agile processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in metrics and experiment-driven development.
- Knowledge of statistical methodology including multivariate analysis, time-series, experimental design, and data mining.
