Analyze complex financial datasets to deliver actionable business insights and support regulatory reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and analyze large-scale financial data using Databricks and SQL.
• Design and build data models, queries, and dashboards for business and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Apply financial domain expertise to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in datasets.
• Present insights and recommendations through reports and visualizations to business leaders.

Required Skills

• 6–7 years of IT or Data Analytics experience with a developer background.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, including SQL and PySpark/Spark.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and reporting.
• Finance domain expertise in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data storytelling skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure cloud services integrated with Databricks.
• Familiarity with BI/Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
