Data Analyst

You will translate business requirements into actionable data insights and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the discovery of business problems and analyze new data sources.
• Perform ad-hoc and recurring investigations to solve real business problems.
• Develop SQL and Python scripts to generate actionable insights based on business requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and build business intelligence solutions.
• Present analysis results to business units and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation for integration testing, audits, and exams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or in a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with Big Data tools.
• Programming experience using Python.
• Experience with Hive and Spark.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tell accurate stories with data.
• Experience documenting business needs and conducting in-depth investigations.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, collect minutes, and drive tasks to completion.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience assisting in all implementation stages, including requirements, test scripts, UAT, and production release.
• Ability to work independently and make key decisions on projects.
