Description

You build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and SQL Server databases for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines with reusable datasets, triggers, and robust error handling.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, APIs, flat files, Azure Blob Storage, and ADLS.
• Design SQL Server databases including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write complex T-SQL for ETL/ELT processes, reporting, and query performance tuning.
• Manage Azure resources such as queues, API containers, and logging frameworks to support data migration and validation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data pipelines, SQL development, and analytics support.
• Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipeline development and orchestration.
• Advanced T-SQL skills for building database objects and writing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema and ER diagrams.
• Experience integrating data via REST APIs (JSON/XML).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Python, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms or the insurance domain.
