Description

You investigate and resolve complex data issues in a high-scale environment, owning product functionality and upstream data flows to ensure downstream reporting integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Detect root causes of significant data discrepancies, such as large-scale financial variances, using a detective mindset.
• Own product data quality independently once functional understanding is established.
• Analyze upstream data flows and their impact on downstream reporting systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues autonomously.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in a data-heavy environment.
• Exceptional SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, analytical functions, and CTEs.
• Experience with Python Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• Experience with Spark coding using Python, Scala, or Java.

Preferred Skills

• Background in E-commerce or Fintech.
• Scripting experience for data pipeline automation.
