You will analyze food and nutrition program data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data sets using SQL, SAS, and R to identify trends and anomalies.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
- Create complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with multiple teams using Agile development methodologies.
Required Skills
- Current experience (within the last six months) with the State’s Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program and USDA federal programs.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with SAS and R programming.
- Hands-on experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Experience using Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Master Degree in Health Information Technology.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations.
- Understanding of database platforms and database design.
