Description

You will analyze food and nutrition program data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating business requirements into technical designs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets using SQL, SAS, and R to identify trends and anomalies.
• Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using MS Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Create complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Collaborate with multiple teams using Agile development methodologies.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Current experience (within the last six months) with the State’s Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program and USDA federal programs.
• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SAS and R programming.
• Hands-on experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Master Degree in Health Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations.
• Understanding of database platforms and database design.
