Description

You will perform detailed discovery and analysis of complex data systems to map logic, dependencies, and data flows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
• Reverse engineer SSIS packages, Microsoft Access applications, and legacy ETL workflows.
• Build and maintain metadata repository tables capturing object details and transformation rules.
• Document system dependencies, business logic, and develop data dictionaries and lineage diagrams.
• Create searchable documentation and dashboards for review and audit purposes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience analyzing large, undocumented legacy systems.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL), schema design, and stored procedure analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS package analysis and reverse engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access (queries, forms, reports, linked tables).
• Knowledge of ETL concepts, data lineage, and dependency analysis.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong documentation and metadata management skills.
