Description

You will define data needs for the enterprise data warehouse and support the development of its architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve data issues by bridging business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Create source-to-target mapping documents from OLTP applications to the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with ETL teams to ensure mapping documents are correctly implemented in ETL code.
• Perform data validation to ensure accurate data movement into the architecture.
• Consult with reporting teams to optimize the use of the data warehouse model.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and OLTP data extraction.
• 5+ years of subject-matter expertise in Policy & Claims Insurance.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and proficiency in RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server or DB2.
• Experience generating DDL.
• Ability to create and tune Semantic layer Reporting Views.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI Architecture frameworks.
• Experience facilitating data discovery sessions with business subject-matter experts.
• B.S. Degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-RI, or SAP FS-CD applications.
