Description

You will analyze data structures and document complex data flows to support knowledge capture and governance.

Responsibilities

• Extract and document data-related knowledge by collaborating with Business Analysts, Technical Writers, and subject matter experts.
• Analyze data structures and flows within applications using SQL to extract insights and provide detailed documentation.
• Map data relationships and dependencies at the application level, focusing on Hogan mainframe systems.
• Apply data management principles to ensure documentation follows best practices for governance and consistency.
• Organize data documentation within a searchable repository to ensure accessibility for cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in IT or financial services.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying complex databases and analyzing data structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Understanding of Data Management principles, including data governance and metadata management.
• Ability to explain technical data structures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe systems, specifically Hogan systems.
