Description

Analyze complex datasets to support business strategy and measure B2B outcomes. Own the data lifecycle from requirements to testing.

Responsibilities

• Wrangle complex datasets using SQL to connect assets across platforms and formats.
• Translate business requirements into technical source-to-target mapping specifications for data engineers.
• Develop and execute end-to-end test plans and scripts using SQL, Python, and automation.
• Document data flows, mappings, and specifications for multiple business use cases.
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects and conduct impact analysis for technical changes.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of combined higher education and work experience in data analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills, including executing complicated joins.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience querying data in various formats: slowly changing dimensions, snapshots, key-value pairs, or normalized tables.
• Experience developing source-to-target mappings for full data loads and CDC (change data capture) patterns.
• Experience performing user acceptance testing (UAT) for data products.
• Knowledge of data management, cataloging, and lineage tools.
