You will apply mathematical rigor and analytical thinking to extract insights from large-scale datasets to improve user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques and feature selection.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and third-party sources.
• Develop actionable quantitative models for effectiveness, ROI, pricing, and optimization.
• Perform extensive data exploration and ad-hoc analysis to present clear insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, plan projects, and communicate results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data science.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience working within enterprise data lake, data warehouse, or big data architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and Hive.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
• Applied statistics knowledge including probability distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their theoretical underpinnings.
• Experience with data science toolkits such as scikit-learn, matplotlib, or ggplot.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, D3.js, Amazon QuickSight, or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Spark.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis/ElasticCache, Cassandra, or HBase.
