Description

You will own the data analysis lifecycle, from ingestion to insight delivery, using Python, Apache Spark, and SQL to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using Python, SQL, and Spark for efficient processing.
• Clean, validate, and organize raw data to ensure accuracy and completeness for analytical purposes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing workflows.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
• Create clear, concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Demonstrable experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and complex analytical tasks.
• Expert-level SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with ETL processes and data analysis methodologies.
• Ability to apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools to create compelling dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
