Description

You will coordinate database changes and implement systems using advanced data management techniques.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare data for ingestion into data warehouses through management, mapping, and modeling activities.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues in collaboration with architects and engineers.
• Write logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers.
• Collaborate with management and technical teams to determine data requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis or database management.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Python, and Spark SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for work management.
• Knowledge of data modeling patterns including Star Schema and Time-Series.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL storage platforms.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or ERP/SAP systems.
• Understanding of integration tools such as MS SSIS or IBM DataStage.
• Practical experience working within Agile or SAFe frameworks.
• Ability to develop and comprehend complex mapping documents.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data patterns such as DIAL, OSDU, or Microsoft Energy Design Patterns.
• Awareness of Azure Synapse and CI/CD workflows.
