Description

You will perform complex data mining, statistical analysis, and trend analysis to support federal government operations at Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts for monitoring and delivering monthly contract reports and deliverables.
• Integrate multiple disciplines within an operations research team to translate methods for operational managers.
• Distill structured and unstructured data into cohesive analytical products for business audiences.
• Develop pattern analysis methods to provide recommendations based on past and anticipated operational environments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in a technical field.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with statistics, data visualization, data cleaning, and data preparation.
• Experience advising senior DoD decision makers on operations research methodologies and results.
• Hands-on experience with Logistics Management Program, Vantage, or Virtual Contracting Enterprise.
• Experience using General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBES) and SAP Business Objects/Web Intelligence Reports.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Army contract writing systems including PD2 and PADDS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience reviewing products for quality control and updating training materials for analytic tools and methodologies.
