Analyses large datasets and builds machine learning models to surface actionable insights and automate analytical workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and maintain machine learning models for classification, regression, and NLP tasks.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using DAX and data modelling.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Integrate generative AI and local/cloud-hosted LLMs to augment workflows and automate text-heavy tasks.
• Apply statistical methods including hypothesis testing and regression analysis to validate findings.

Required Skills

• Python: pandas, scikit-learn, seaborn, NLTK.
• Data visualisation: Power BI (report building, DAX, data modelling).
• Databases: SQL (query writing, joins, aggregations, window functions).
• Statistical acumen: hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression, probability distributions, significance testing.
• Office tools: Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query) and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of hands-on work experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or equivalent role.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with NLP pipelines, text analytics, and PySpark for big data processing.
• ML deployment exposure: serving models via FastAPI and building interfaces with Streamlit or Gradio.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts or cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
