Analyze healthcare data to improve patient outcomes and cost-efficiency through rigorous quality assurance and process standardization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inbound healthcare data (claims, ADT HL7, eligibility) to assess quality and consistency.
• Design, program, and standardize processes for auditing and verifying data sources.
• Perform root-cause analysis on data irregularities and present findings to leadership.
• Create and execute test plans, data quality rules, and automation scripts.
• Document as-is and to-be processes and provide feedback on business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare data analysis and health economics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and SAS.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Python and Java.
• Experience with quantitative analytics, regression modeling, and data quality testing.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data including medical claims, pharmacy claims, and eligibility.
• Expertise in Excel and database management.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with limited supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Consulting experience in health policy, specifically regarding Medicare/Medicaid topics.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and HIPAA/healthcare regulations.
