Description

You will support data initiatives by performing data mining, analysis, and reporting to drive business insights.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends and patterns.
• Gather requirements and coordinate the reconciliation of large datasets to automate processes.
• Write Jira user stories and coordinate user acceptance testing for data standardization.
• Generate ad hoc reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through thorough testing.
• Liaise between business teams and technology to agree on requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write queries across large, complex datasets.
• Experience using Python for data mining and analysis.
• 1 year of experience documenting and assisting product owners with system or business requirements.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office and expanded product lines including Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• 2 years of technology experience and proficiency.
• Experience using Jira for task and requirement management.
• Ability to work with limited requirements to create data summaries in Excel and PowerPoint presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services, specifically regarding positions, agreements, or collateral.
