Description

You will clean, validate, and analyze the Indiana BRFSS dataset to generate public health insights.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Clean and validate BRFSS data to ensure accuracy prior to analysis.
• Conduct general and complex data analysis as a project lead or contributor.
• Build data visualizations and Tableau dashboards to communicate findings.
• Develop reports and present key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all data handling adheres to HIPAA and state privacy statutes.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience using SAS or R.
• 2+ years of broad knowledge in data analysis, analytics, or statistics.
• Experience with data manipulation, including cleansing, standardizing, and transforming.
• Proficiency in data analytics.
• Experience with BRFSS data.
• Ability to work independently to complete data quality checks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing data analytics with public health data.
• Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization.
• Familiarity with Behavioural Risk Factor Surveillance Survey or complex survey designs.
