Description

You will validate, clean, and analyze the Indiana BRFSS dataset to generate public health insights.

Responsibilities

• Clean and validate BRFSS data to ensure accuracy prior to analysis and reporting.
• Conduct general and complex statistical analyses on BRFSS datasets.
• Build data visualizations and Tableau dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop new methods for reporting surveillance data.
• Ensure all data handling adheres to HIPAA and state privacy statutes.

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience using SAS or R.
• 2 years of broad knowledge in data analysis, analytics, or statistics.
• 1 year of experience with data manipulation, including cleansing, standardizing, and transforming.
• Experience with BRFSS and IDOH data.
• Ability to work independently to complete data quality checks.
• Strong presentation skills for communicating results to stakeholders.
• Any Graduate degree.
