Data Analyst

You will analyze public health and healthcare datasets to support program effectiveness and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey data using SAS, including BRFSS and Youth Tobacco Survey datasets.
• Interpret large healthcare datasets such as hospital discharge and long-term care facility data.
• Build data visualizations and reports in Tableau, handling data cleaning, merging, and joins.
• Execute statistical calculations including age-adjusted rates and regression analyses.
• Design research questions to test the effectiveness of public health interventions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in SAS for statistical techniques and survey data analysis.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Ability to create visualizations in Tableau.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and data preparation.
• Knowledge of statistical regression analyses.
• Experience working with healthcare data such as NHSN, ICAR, or antimicrobial stewardship data.
• Ability to perform epidemiologic data interpretation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with public health program evaluation.
