Description

Interpret and analyze epidemiologic data to guide public health decision-making using statistical techniques and data visualization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on survey data (e.g., BRFSS, Youth Tobacco Survey) using SAS.
• Analyze large healthcare datasets, including hospital discharge and long-term care facility records.
• Create data visualizations in Tableau, managing data preparation, cleaning, and relationship joins.
• Design research questions to test the effectiveness of public health programs or interventions.
• Generate data reports using ICAR, antimicrobial stewardship, and NHSN data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• 2+ years of experience using R or Python for data analysis.
• 1+ years of experience using SAS for data analysis.
• 1+ years of experience using Tableau for data visualization.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to execute statistical calculations, including age-adjusted rates and regression analyses.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with proven problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using SQL to query relational databases.
