Description

Support software development teams by performing ETL operations and analyzing data within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and analyze datasets to identify trends and address ongoing data challenges.
• Perform ETL operations to facilitate data delivery within sprint cycles.
• Develop dashboards and data portals to provide insights for stakeholders in law enforcement, academia, and practitioners.
• Collaborate with researchers to meet funding agency requirements and provide expertise on visualization.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with ETL processes and Informatica.
• Ability to use BI and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Cognos.
• Foundational knowledge of basic statistics and statistical methods.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting stakeholders in law enforcement or academic research.
• Familiarity with funding agency reporting requirements.
