You will lead technical design and data management improvements for the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive plan to address data management issues and enhance reporting accuracy within the CWDS.
- Design and generate standard and ad-hoc reports using Business Object Enterprise (BOE) to track performance parameters like Measurable Skills Gains and Credential Attainment.
- Act as the primary liaison between business partners and IT staff, including project managers and vendor developers.
- Coordinate testing efforts by creating and executing test plans and scenarios for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Execute training plans by developing training materials, quick reference guides, and standard operating procedure manuals.
- Analyze legislation and business documentation to determine necessary IT system or business process changes.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis and technical leadership.
- SQL for data querying and management.
- Crystal Reports for reporting requirements.
- SSRS and SSIS for reporting and integration services.
- ETL processes and Python for data manipulation.
- MDX for multidimensional expressions.
- SOAP UI for web service testing.
- Experience designing and executing UAT and SIT testing scenarios.
- Ability to translate complex legislative or business requirements into technical system changes.
