Description

You will split your time equally between data engineering and Power BI development.

You will own the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark. You will design interactive dashboards and reports within Power BI, applying DAX and Power Query/M for data modeling and transformation. You will lead BI projects through planning, execution, and backlog management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports within Power BI.
• Apply DAX and Power Query/M for data modeling and transformation.
• Lead BI projects through planning, execution, and backlog management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
• 5+ years of experience with Power Query/M for data transformation.
• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• 2+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Proficiency in DAX for advanced calculations.
• Proficiency in Python, including data types, loops, conditionals, error handling, and standard libraries.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or relevant Power BI certifications.
• Experience with Power Automate.
