Description

You will perform security-focused data analysis and vulnerability management within a complex IT infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute vulnerability scanning, identification, and remediation using tools like Tenable or Nessus.
• Conduct threat hunting, incident response, and participate in situational tabletop exercises for malware, phishing, and ransomware.
• Manage endpoint protection, hardening, and policy configuration for AV/XDR and endpoint agents.
• Administer on-premise cybersecurity applications across Windows and Linux server environments.
• Monitor SIEM, logging, syslog, and alerting systems to identify threat vectors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks, NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, IRS 1075, and SSA/PII requirements.
• Hands-on experience with network LAN/WAN, firewalls, email security, AV, SIEM, GPO, web proxy, and web technologies.
• Experience with Nmap, Wireshark, and phishing simulation tools.
• Technical familiarity with load balancers, database management, Windows/Linux servers, and 365 ATP/DLP.
• Competency in Windows workstation and wireless security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with endpoint protection/hardening and AV/XDR policy configuration.
