Description

You will build and maintain data governance artifacts for the Enterprise Data User Community by gathering, analyzing, and documenting datasets.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform data profiling analysis across various sources and report findings to management to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with business users to identify critical data elements, define quality rules, and capture business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Data Quality dashboards and visualizations to track metrics.
• Support project deliverables for Data Governance (DG) tools and implement or expand governance capabilities with technology teams.
• Maintain data records, documentation, and feedback loops to support the Data User Community.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience in data analysis, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in data analysis methods and techniques.
• Ability to understand and classify data, distinguishing between technical and non-technical data elements.
• Experience with data profiling and quality assessment tools.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting to management.
• Experience supporting the implementation of governance tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data quality rules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools.
