Description

You will lead data analysis efforts to support Business Intelligence and drive the design of enterprise data warehouses and reporting structures.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to define and document data requirements for the Operational Data Store and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Provide oversight and input on database designs, models, and processes while leading a team of data analysts.
• Execute in-depth analysis by writing complex PL/SQL queries across source systems, data marts, and warehouses to identify trends and anomalies.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for data stores and warehouses, guiding design activities and managing data dependencies.
• Identify data quality issues and support data governance initiatives through continuous analysis of business operating practices and data flows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within a data-intensive financial services environment.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced PL/SQL and Oracle queries and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, scripts, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and Business Intelligence tools such as SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong understanding of database models and data mart structures.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience working in a senior capacity within information technology.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience using Erwin for data modeling.
• Prior experience specifically within the Financial Services industry.
