You serve as the primary data and domain subject matter expert for Property & Casualty insurance areas, translating business concepts into accurate data logic and metrics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and validate reporting and extract requirements with business stakeholders.
• Translate insurance business concepts into accurate data logic, metrics, and dimensional definitions.
• Create and validate SQL queries, views, or semantic-layer objects against the enterprise data warehouse.
• Ensure reports align with business definitions, regulatory needs, and data governance standards.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and investigate data discrepancies between source systems and the data warehouse.

Required Skills

• 8+ years as a hands-on IT Reporting data analyst.
• 4+ years in reporting or data analysis within the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), Microsoft Power BI, or similar product.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying enterprise Data Warehouses.
• Working knowledge of insurance source systems including Guidewire, Genius, and SAP.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling and enterprise reporting concepts.
• Ability to document data definitions, business rules, and reporting assumptions.
