Description

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise data architectures and analytical solutions to support strategic and tactical business needs. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle, from translating complex business rules into technical requirements to delivering high-quality data assets for data science and self-service analytics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models, transformation logic, and enterprise data architectures using dimensional and 3rd normal form techniques.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and warehouses, collaborating with data engineers to ensure performance and reliability.
• Define and enforce data quality standards and best practices for user story development, coding, and testing.
• Partner with product owners and senior management to scope projects, manage dependencies, and align data solutions with departmental goals.
• Enable the data science team by providing clean, structured data for ML model development and create prototypes for KPI monitoring.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or related engineering roles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and expertise in building scalable data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with big data platforms including Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Strong understanding of data integration design, performance tuning, and data modeling (dimensional and 3rd normal form).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and work effectively with product owners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience establishing self-service analytics frameworks to empower business users.
• Familiarity with data testing techniques, code reviews, and work estimation methodologies.
